• named to the USTFCCCA 2012 Division III Men’s Cross Country All-Academic Team
• earned All-South/Southeast Region recognition with a fourth-place finish at the regional meet
• First Team All-ODAC thanks to a third-place finish at the league championships
• named to ODAC Sportsmanship Team
• finished 107th in his first appearance at the NCAA DIII Championships with an eight-kilometer time of 25:45.6, his second-best time of the season and the eighth-fastest in school history
• ran a 26:44.21 at the NCAA Division III Cross Country South/Southeast Regionals Nov. 10 in Hampton, Ga.
• best finish of the season came Oct. 6 at the Hagan Stone XC Classic where he finished first with an eight-kilometer time of 26:19.2

Personal

• named to Guilford's Student-Athlete Honor Roll
• helped save a man's life during a team beach outing in August, 2012
• transferred to Guilford in August 2012 from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he ran two seasons for coach Vicki Mitchell
• lettered four years for the cross country team at Ithaca High School
• graduated with the school record on IHS' home course (15:54 - 5k)
• also a four-year track and field letter winner for the Little Red
• graduated with the school record in the 3,200 meters (9:19)
